Do you actually travel out to Midlothian, or only Edinburgh?

Midlothian is part of our normal working area, and Loanhead and Bonnyrigg in particular are regular ground for us. It is a longer run than the city districts, so we tend to plan a job to run in one continuous block rather than in short visits, which keeps things moving and keeps the price sensible.

How far past Midlothian do you go?

The area carries on out into East Lothian and the Scottish Borders. There is a point where travel stops making sense for a small job even though it is fine for a full installation, so the honest answer depends on the work. Ring with your postcode and what you need, and we will tell you either way rather than leaving you waiting.

Do you cover Midlothian for urgent work?

Midlothian is inside the area we work, Loanhead and Bonnyrigg included. Office hours are Monday and Tuesday from 8am and Wednesday to Friday from 9am, until 5pm. Outside those hours calls reach an answer machine. Ring during office hours and we will tell you honestly when we can get to you.

Midlothian

Midlothian is the county immediately south of the city and a normal part of our working week. We cover boiler installation and replacement, boiler repair and servicing, central heating and radiators, gas safety checks and plumbing through Loanhead, Bonnyrigg and the surrounding towns and villages.

The housing here is different again from the Edinburgh districts. Former mining and village settlements with solid postwar stock, larger modern estates on the edges of Loanhead and Bonnyrigg, and older stone property in between. Access is generally good, boilers are generally reachable, and the work is closer to the Corstorphine end of the spectrum than the Marchmont end.
